No one wants to go through dark times. You find yourself in a space that it is hard to overcome. It seems like there is one thing after another. Your friends and family left you. Your significant other disowns you. Your job relieves you. AND THE BILLS DON'T STOP. AND LIFE DOESN'T STOP. But I know one thing for certain and two things for sure, that we serve a God that is never failing. The LORD is my light and my salvation, so why should I be afraid? For God has not given us a spirit of fear. So as you go through your dark time, know that God continues to work even in the dark. In the darkness there is always light on the other side. As your world turns, you will start to see the guiding light. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. I declare and I decree on this day, even in the midst of your darkness, that God is with you. In the bible it says that God is light and in Him there is no darkness. So if you continue to let the God that lives in you shine, darkness can not exist. So you are not afraid of the dark because the Lord our God is with you.
Dear God,
Your light surrounds us,
Your love enfolds us,
Your power protects us,
Your presence watches over us,
Wherever we are, You Are.
