Remember when your momma would say, "don't say shut up it's not nice. Say be quiet." Me as a child I couldn't wait to find somebody to tell shut up. See what my momma didn't understand was shut up had power and emphasis. Now that I'm grown and my mind has been renewed, shut up has become a weapon. I found myself saying stuff like, "God is speaking to me but i can't hear because you won't shut up. Death and life lie in the power of the tongue and If you are not speaking life into me shut the hell up. Devil get ye behind me and shut the hell up." See there are so many distractions around us that we can't hear God and we stop expecting his voice. Jesus said to expect more because He will always have something to say to us about new situations we are facing. So whatever it is in your life that's hindering you from His voice, tell them to SHUT THE HELL UP!
